Bamboo is a grass and the fastest growing plant on this earth with
some species growing up to 1 meter per day. Because bamboo grows so
rapidly, it is a quickly renewable resource. It's a viable
replacement for wood and one of the strongest building materials.

This pen is made of lignumvitae which means " wood of life". Lignumvitae is is a very hard wood that has been used to make pulley sheaves, machine bushings, and propeller shafts for steamships. The oily properties of this pen make give it a smooth, supple finish.
